La tengo por otro lado un tanto olvidada, y eso que es de las pocas cintas que aun conservo incluso en VHS, por lo voluminoso y molón de la edición de la que dispongo. Lo mismo cuando asome esta edición restaurada la vuelvo a echar un vistazo, estaría bien. Una cosa que diré totalmente a su favor y que la sitúa en mis preferencias por encima de la otra cinta fantástica famosa de Henson, Dentro del Laberinto, es la acertada idea de no mezclar marionetas y humanos, aparte de ahorrarse los números musicales, dos cosas que me sacaban totalmente de la película con Bowie y Connelly.

Bueno, hago eco aquí que celebrando su 35 aniversario se ha gestado una edición Blu-Ray y 4K UHD (joe, cuanto nombre ya) de este clásico de Jim Henson donde se ha restaurado a partir del mismisimo metraje original.

La edición combo 4K UHD + Blu-ray cuenta con un documental totalmente nuevo - “Cristal Oscuro: el mito, la magia y el legado de Henson”
