No es tan absorvente como Meridiano de Sangre o La carretera, pero engancha y se lee facilmente.
La historia en sí trata sobre Lester Ballard, un paleto de Tennessie necrofilo y asesino. No es tan jodidamente crudo como esperaba que lo fuese (viniendo de este autor), pero aún así lo flipas con las paranoias del protagonista.
La recta final del libro me ha recordado poderosamente a la historia de Ed Gein.
En algunos aspectos se parece un montón a No es pais para viejos

Pues queda dicho. Otra obra imprescindible para los que tengan un estomago fuerte.

Muy deprimente y triste. Solo con leer las descripciones de los lugares a donde los dos protagonistas van ya se te quitan las ganas de leer. Pero no!! la cosa es que te engancha cosa mala. Y mira que realmente la historia no va a ninguna parte ¿a donde va a ir si ya no queda nada en el mundo? simplemente un hombre y su hijo buscandose la vida como buenamente pueden...
El final te deja un sabor agridulce, pero desde que empiezas a leer sabes que ese es el unico final posible (aunque yo me lo esperaba incluso peor).

Por cierto, hay un detallé del final que no entendí...
