Pues a mi gusto se a quedado como una de las mejores peliculas de terror de todos los tiempos. Pero hay que verla con la perspectiva del tiempo. ¿El remake?, viniendo de un tio que me sorprendió gratamente con sus dos peliculas... espero algo muy bueno.

Una novedad en el reparto, segun fangoria.com Zombie ha repescado a una crecidita Danielle Harris (la de Halloween 4 y 5) para que haga un papelico en esta. Segun ellos, hará de la mismisima Laure Strode despues de haber interpretado a su sobrina (o era su hija? ya no ricordo)

Rob Zombie has made more casting announcements for his upcoming remake of "Halloween". According to the rocker-turned-director, Pat Skipper will play Mason Strode, the father of Laurie Strode, while Dee Wallace-Stone will play Laurie's mother, Cynthia Strode.

Skipper's credits include "Predator 2" and "Hellraiser: Bloodline", as well as several episodes of the television series "The X-Files".

Wallace-Stone is best remembered for her role as Elliot's divorced mother in the Steven Spielberg film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982) and as Karen White in "The Howling" (1981). In total, she has appeared in more than 85 films, among them "The Stepford Wives" in 1975 and "10" in 1979.

Zombie recently announced that "X-Men" and "The Devil's Rejects" actor Tyler Mane will play Michael Myers, while "A Clockwork Orange" star Malcolm McDowell will appear as Dr. Loomis, the psychiatrist pursuing Myers.

As previously reported, Zombie has started making a documentary on the production of "Halloween". Zombie wrote in an recent online posting, "Many of you have been asking if I plan on making a 'making of Halloween' documentary similar to the '30 Days In Hell' one on 'The Devil's Rejects' DVD. Well, the answer is yes. We started shooting on the first day of pre-production and we will continue up until we are finished."

Zombie also wrote that he's seen the finished mask that will be worn by "Halloween"'s killer, Michael Myers, and commented, "All I can say is 'HOLY F***.'It looks perfect. Exactly like the original. Not since 1978 has (Myers) looked so good."

"Halloween" is due in theatres on August 31, 2007. Filming begins later this month. The movie is Zombie's third feature film as a director after 2003's "House of 1000 Corpses" and 2005's "The Devil's Rejects".

As reported earlier in the weei, Zombie announced that he is working on a boxed set for his previous band, WHITE ZOMBIE. A solo live album is also scheduled for release sometime early this year.
