Jack el Destripador en el cine

Acabo de terminar, extasiado, mi relectura anual de FROM HELL de Alan Moore, la que es para mí la mejor adaptación (ya sea en cómic, peli, libro...) del mito e historia de Jack el Destripador.

Me he quedado con ganas de más, y mi pregunta es: ¿qué adaptaciones cinematográficas hay que merezcan la pena? Son poquitas las pelis que he visto sobre el tema y, la peor con diferencia, precisamente la versión en cine del cómic que acabo de terminar... :roll:

lo cierto es que cinematográficamente jack el destripador no ha salido muy bien parado... pero si tuviera que quedarme con una película del asesino de Whitechappel lo haría con la película/serie de 1988 "Jack el destripador" protagonizada por Mihael Caine:

Mas por anecdota que porque aborde el tema en profundidad , hay que mencionar que es a quien H.G Wells persigue a través del tiempo en "Time after time " (o "los pasajeros del tiempo " ).
